There are two ways to calculate your tip: 1) Tip After Tax or 2) Tip Before Tax.
From the Calculator page, enter the Settings page by tapping the Settings button in the top right corner.
You can change your settings to Tip After Tax Amount or Tip Before Tax Amount, the type of currency, and the tip percentage values.
Tip After Tax Amount is the default setting. To change this setting to Tip Before Tax Amount, enter the Settings page from the Calculator page by tapping the Settings button in the top right corner. Press the slider button to disable the Tip After Tax Amount setting. This will enable the Tip Before Tax Amount setting.
From the Calculator page, enter the Settings page by tapping the Settings button in the top right corner. Tap Currency to open a menu with different currency options.
Changing the currency will change the symbol shown on the Calculator screen. The currency setting also determines how many decimal places are allowed when entering monetary amounts. For example, Japanese Yen (JPY) does not allow for any decimal places while the United States Dollar allows for two decimal places.
The default tip percentage values are 10%, 15%, 18%, 20%, and 25%. You can change these values to anything you want.
From the Calculator page, enter the Settings page by tapping the Settings button in the top right corner. Tap Tip Options to enter the Tip Options page. Tap on an option, and use the keypad to adjust the percentage value for that option. Swipe to the left to delete an option.
Tap the Add button to add an additional option.
Tap the Edit button in the top right corner to enter editing mode. This allows you to re-order the items by holding the three lines to the right of an option and dragging up and down. Notice there is a red delete icon next to each option that you can also use to delete an option.
You must have at least one option and at most six options. The app will not allow you to add more than six options or delete your only option.
